Al-Nassr Pursues Greenwood and Finalizes Decision on Loaning John Duran
Press reports have revealed a stunning surprise regarding Al-Nassr's moves in the transfer market, as the club has entered strongly into the race to sign the star of French club Olympique de Marseille, paving the way for a major deal in the upcoming period.
The "Topskills Sports" platform clarified that Al-Nassr is aiming to sign the English winger Mason Greenwood, whose market value is estimated at around 50 million euros, as a potential replacement for the Portuguese player João Félix, who is expected to leave at the end of the season.
Greenwood is attracting widespread attention in Europe, as his name was previously linked to a move to Al Hilal with an offer of 100 million euros last winter. Atletico Madrid also showed interest, and Manchester United discussed the idea of bringing him back.
The player could receive a massive annual salary ranging between 80 and 100 million pounds if the deal is completed, especially after his impressive performance with Marseille since the summer of 2024, during which he played 68 matches, scored 44 goals, and provided 14 assists.
In contrast, reports revealed that Colombian striker John Duran has been loaned from Al-Nassr to Zenit Saint Petersburg until the end of the 2025-2026 season, without including a purchase option in the contract.
Zenit will acquire the player for 4 million euros plus bonuses, while Al-Nassr will cover his annual salary of approximately 20 million euros, after he scored 13 goals in 20 matches with the club.
This comes as Al-Nassr prepares to face Arkadag this evening in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League 2, in a new continental test for the team.
