The Brazilian Fabinho Tavares, a midfielder for Al-Ittihad, revealed details about his contractual situation with the club, as his contract with "Al-Ameed" is nearing its end at the conclusion of the current season.

Fabinho's statements came following his contribution to the sweeping victory achieved by Al-Ittihad over Qatar's Al-Gharafa with a score of 7-0, in the seventh round of the AFC Champions League for the elite, at the "Al-Inma" Stadium in Jeddah.

The Brazilian star confirmed that the team approached the match with a final mentality, highlighting the high fighting spirit displayed by the players. He emphasized the need to maintain focus in the upcoming phase and to support the new members for quick integration.

Fabinho addressed his future, saying that his contract is nearing its end, explaining that he will continue until the end of the season, after which he will hold a meeting with the club's management to make his final decision.

Regarding not bidding farewell to Karim Benzema after his transfer to Al-Hilal, Fabinho explained that they bid farewell to N'Golo Kante when he visited the club's headquarters, while he did not have the opportunity to meet Benzema after he signed with his new club.

The midfielder concluded his remarks by wishing Benzema success in his new experience, while also stating that he does not want to see Al-Hilal win the league title this season, following the French striker's move to the team from Al-Ittihad, while Kanté has moved to Fenerbahçe in Turkey.
