Arkadag Coach Challenges Al-Nassr Despite Absences: We Do Not Fear Ronaldo and Our Plan Will Not Change
Merjen Orazov, the coach of Turkmenistan's Arkadag, confirmed that the significant absences in Al-Nassr's lineup will not lead him to change his style, ahead of the anticipated match between the two teams in the AFC Champions League 2.
Arkadag will host their Saudi counterpart Al-Nassr on Wednesday afternoon, in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the continental tournament, in a match that the Turkmenistan team awaits with great ambitions.
In his press statements, Urazov emphasized that the absence of several prominent names, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, will not affect his main plan, explaining that the style of play will remain consistent with minor adjustments according to the course of the match.
The Arkadag coach explained that his team is physically and technically ready to take on the challenge, acknowledging the strength of Al-Nassr, but he is confident in his players' ability to deliver a strong performance and achieve a positive result.
On the other hand, Urazov pointed out that his team will be missing the services of the duo Altymyrat Anadurdiyev and Sanzhar Tirkisov due to injury, which represents a significant absence ahead of the first leg.
