Al-Ittihad club swept its Qatari counterpart Al-Gharafa with a score of seven goals to none, in a strong match that brought them together on Tuesday evening at the Al-Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, as part of the seventh round of the AFC Champions League for the elite.

The team entered the match with a lineup led by goalkeeper Predrag Rajković, and included Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti, Danilo Pereira, Hassan Kadesh, Mario Mitaj, Fabinho, Mahamadou Doumbia, Houssem Aouar, Moussa Diaby, Youssef En-Nesyri, and Roger Fernandes.

Youssef En-Nesyri opened the scoring early in the third minute, capitalizing on a precise cross from Mohannad Al-Shanqeeti inside the penalty area, confidently placing the ball into Al-Gharafa's net.

Houssem Aouar added the second goal in the 20th minute, while the referee disallowed a goal by Roger Fernandes in the 30th minute after consulting the video assistant referee for offside.

At the start of the second half, Roger Fernandez strengthened the score with a third goal in the 49th minute, before Danilo Pereira added the fourth goal two minutes later, assisted by Houssem Aouar.

The team continued their goal-scoring spree, with Houssem Aouar scoring the fifth goal in the 58th minute, followed by Roger Fernandez who netted the sixth goal in the 62nd minute.

Houssem Aouar concluded the seven goals by scoring the seventh in the 79th minute, confirming the overwhelming dominance of the team, raising their tally to 12 points in sixth place, while Al-Gharafa remained tenth with 6 points.
