The German Matthias Jaissle, head coach of Al-Ahli Jeddah's first football team, made an important decision following the match against Al-Wahda of the UAE and before preparing to face Al-Shabab in the Saudi Professional League (Roshn League) competition.
Yaisleh decided to give Al-Ahli players a day off on Tuesday after the team's delegation arrived early in the morning at King Abdulaziz International Airport, following their goalless draw against Al-Wahda of the UAE in the AFC Champions League for the elite.
According to what was reported by the sports newspaper this evening, the German coach has decided to conduct only two training sessions on Wednesday and Thursday before heading to the capital, Riyadh, in preparation for the anticipated match against Al-Shabab.
Al-Ahli is preparing to face its counterpart Al-Shabab in a match scheduled for next Friday at 4:55 PM at Al-Shabab Stadium in Riyadh, as part of the 22nd round of the Saudi Professional League, known as the Roshn League.
