A goalless draw prevailed in the match between Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal and the UAE's Shabab Al Ahli, which took place this evening at Al Rashid Stadium as part of the seventh round of the AFC Champions League for the elite.

Al Hilal dominated the game with 64% possession, but their control did not translate into real opportunities, as they failed to direct any shots on target throughout the match.

On the other hand, the Shabab Al Ahli team managed only three attempts on goal, maintaining their defensive solidity against the pressure from Al Hilal, and thus secured a valuable point against the group leader.

The match saw the absence of several key players from Al-Hilal's lineup, most notably Marcos Leonardo, Kalidou Koulibaly, Yassine Bounou, Salem Al-Dawsari, in addition to Karim Benzema, due to various reasons.

With this result, Al Hilal raised its tally to 19 points, continuing to lead Group B in the AFC Champions League for the elite, while Shabab Al Ahli reached 11 points in fifth place.

Al-Hilal had officially secured its qualification to the round of 16 since the previous round, which gave the coaching staff the opportunity to make some changes during this match.

This draw comes just days after Al-Hilal achieved a significant victory over Al-Akhdood with a 6-0 scoreline, as part of the 21st round of the Saudi Professional League (Roshn League).
