The Russian club Zenit officially announced the signing of Colombian striker John Duran, a player from Saudi club Al-Nassr, on loan until the end of the 2025-2026 season, in a notable move during the transfer market.

The Russian club announced through its official channels the completion of the deal after reaching an agreement with Al-Nassr's management, allowing Doran to embark on a new experience in the Russian Premier League until the end of the current season.

John Duran moved to Zenit after spending the first half of the season with the Turkish club Fenerbahçe, before Al-Nassr decided to loan him out again to gain more experience.

The deal was part of Zenit's plan to strengthen their front line, seeking additional offensive solutions that provide the coaching staff with greater diversity in choices during domestic and continental competitions.

Zenit officials hope that Doran will contribute to enhancing the team's offensive effectiveness and support their ambitions to compete for the Russian league title and achieve a strong European presence.
