Zakaria Hawsawi, the left-back for the Saudi Al-Ahli team, will miss the match against the UAE's Al-Wahda in the seventh round of the AFC Champions League for the elite, scheduled to take place on Monday at Al Nahyan Stadium at 4:45 PM.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" reported that Hawsawi stayed in Jeddah and did not accompany the Al-Ahli delegation to Abu Dhabi due to a sudden illness just a few hours before the trip.
The club doctor explained that the player needs rest and should not travel, so he was excluded from the match squad to ensure his well-being.
Hawsawi is added to the list of Al-Ahli absentees against Al-Wehda, which also includes the Turkish defender Merih Demiral and the Brazilian Galeno Wenderson.
