Imam Ashour Demands Equality with Trezeguet and Zizo to Extend His Contract
Imam Ashour, the midfielder of Al Ahly club, set two conditions for extending his contract with the Red team, which expires in 2028.
According to the 247 platform, Ashour wants to receive the same salary as Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet and Ahmed Mostafa Zizo, in addition to a large advertising campaign in his name, before agreeing to renew his contract.
Trezeguet earns approximately 1.1 million dollars annually, while Imam Ashour's current salary amounts to 15 million Egyptian pounds.
It is noted that Ashour was fined one and a half million pounds and underwent individual training for two weeks after failing to travel with the Al-Ahly delegation to Tanzania to face Young Africans without prior permission.
