The Danish coach of Al Ahly, Jesper Torup, relies on a rotation policy between goalkeepers Mohamed El Shenawy and Mostafa Shobeir this season. Shobeir is responsible for guarding the team's goal in African matches, while El Shenawy participates in the Egyptian league competitions.

According to Al-Watan newspaper, Mohamed El Shenawy has already started assessing his position with Al Ahly, without making a final decision yet, especially given the interest from several Gulf clubs looking to sign him in the upcoming period.

The newspaper added that El-Shenawy does not mind pursuing an international professional experience at the end of the current season, but he is considering the matter very carefully before making his final decision about leaving Al Ahly during the summer transfer window.

The same sources confirmed that Al Ahly club management has not yet decided on El Shenawy's future, noting that the international goalkeeper is still highly valued by coach Jes Torup due to his extensive experience and leadership role within the team.
