Napoli succeeded in securing a 3-2 victory over their host Genoa in the match held at Luigi Ferraris Stadium as part of the 24th round of the Italian League.

Genoa opened the scoring early in the 3rd minute through Ruslan Malinovskyi from a penalty kick, before Napoli quickly responded with an equalizer in the 19th minute by Rasmus Højlund. The team added a second goal just two minutes later through Scott McTominay.

In the second half, Genoa scored the equalizer through Lorenzo Colombo in the 57th minute, before Napoli secured the match in the final moments with a third goal from a penalty executed by Rasmus Højlund in the 90+5th minute.

Napoli player Juan Jesus received a red card in the 76th minute after getting his second yellow card.

With this victory, Napoli's tally rose to 49 points, placing them third in the Italian league standings, while Genoa's tally remained at 23 points in fourteenth place.
