Al-Hilal Files Complaint Against Abdullah Al-Hamdan After His First Appearance with Al-Nassr
Saturday 07-02-2026
Al Hilal Club has taken an official step regarding its former striker Abdullah Al Hamdan, following his transfer to Al Nassr during the last winter transfer window, marking a new development in the ongoing dispute between the two parties.

Abdullah Al-Hamdan joined Al-Nassr on a free transfer after he unilaterally terminated his contract with Al-Hilal just a few days before the official end of the contract.

The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" revealed that Al-Hilal Club's company has filed an official complaint against the player, objecting to the manner in which the contractual relationship between the two parties was terminated.

Al-Hamdan made his first appearance in the Al-Nassr jersey during the match against Al-Ittihad, coming on as a substitute in the 21st round of the Roshan League, which ended with Al-Nassr winning 2-0.

The newspaper explained that Al Hilal filed a complaint with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, asserting that the player terminated his contract without a legitimate reason, considering what happened as a clear violation and an evasion of the regulations.

The details revealed that Al-Hamdan informed Al-Hilal's management of his decision to terminate the contract via an email, even though the agreement was supposed to last until the sixth of February.

The announcement of Al-Nassr's official signing of Hamdan came on the last day of the winter transfer window, which closed at the end of February 2.

During his career with Al-Hilal since joining in 2021 from Al-Shabab, Abdullah Al-Hamdan played 145 matches, during which he scored 13 goals and provided 10 assists for the team known as "The Leader."
