Ekramy Attacks Emam Ashour
Ikrami El-Shahat, the former Al Ahly star, criticized Imam Ashour, the current Al Ahly player, due to the recent dispute between the player and his club.
Al Ahly imposed a fine of one and a half million on Imam Ashour and subjected him to individual training for two weeks after he failed to travel with the team to Tanzania to face Young Africans.
Ikrami said on "MBC Egypt 1" channel: "Imam Ashour really hurt Al-Ahly club by not traveling with the team."
He added, "It has never happened before; Al Ahly has never depended on a player, not on El-Khatib or anyone else. Al Ahly has always been great, and there is some resentment from certain people towards Al Ahly."
