The Saudi club Al-Ittihad officially announced the completion of its contract with Cameroonian defender Stéphane Keller, who comes from the Cypriot club AEL Limassol, in a move aimed at strengthening the defense line for the upcoming phase of the season.

The Al-Ittihad club clarified through its official account on the "X" platform that the signing of Stefan Keller was on a loan basis, with the player set to remain with the team until the end of the current season.

Keller's deal came after the winter transfer window closed early Tuesday morning, with the player being registered specifically to support Al-Ittihad's squad in the elite Asian Champions League competitions only.

The club continues its efforts to strengthen the team, having previously signed Moroccan Youssef En-Nesyri and Nigerian George Weah during the winter transfer window.

The Al-Ittihad squad also saw the return of the duo Talal Haji and Farha Al-Shamrani, following the end of their loan period to Al-Riyadh Club, as part of strengthening the team's local options.

Al-Ittihad Club is preparing for an anticipated match against Al-Nassr this evening, as part of the twenty-first round of the Saudi Professional League.
