Colombian striker John Duran is heading towards a new experience in European football, as he is on his way to join Russian club Zenit Saint Petersburg, according to journalist Santi Una.

Sources confirmed that the player was on a flight headed to Saint Petersburg Airport, in preparation for completing the official transfer procedures to join Zenit in the coming hours, marking a new shift in his professional career.

This step comes after Duran finished his loan period with Turkish club Fenerbahçe, which he joined from Al-Nasr club, as the player seeks to start a new phase that offers him more playing minutes and technical stability.

Duran is expected to undergo medical examinations upon his arrival, before the official announcement of the deal, while Zenit continues to strengthen its ranks in preparation for upcoming domestic competitions.
