Cristiano Ronaldo Participates in Al-Nassr Training
Wednesday 04-02-2026
The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Al-Nassr Club, participated in the team's group training as part of the preparations for the anticipated match against Al-Ittihad, in the 21st round of the Saudi Professional League, on Friday.

Ronaldo missed the recent Riyadh match, which took place last Monday as part of the twentieth round (1-0), sparking speculation about the reasons behind the team captain's absence from the game.

In this context, media reports indicated that Ronaldo's absence might be linked to dissatisfaction with the role of the Public Investment Fund, allegedly hindering strong signings that would bolster Al-Nassr's lineup. The Portuguese star believes this has negatively impacted the team's ability to seriously compete for the league title.

The reports added that Ronaldo considers the current situation within the club to be unfair, which prompted him to express an indirect protest by being absent from the match against Riyadh. He later returned to participate in training in preparation for the major match against Al-Ittihad.

The player's position on participating against Al-Ittihad remains under observation, awaiting what the coming days will reveal, especially given the importance of the upcoming phase in Al-Nassr's local journey.
