The coaching staff of Al-Ahli Club is awaiting the results of the medical examinations that the Turkish defender Merih Demiral will undergo, to determine his position on participating against Al-Hazm in the Saudi Roshn League.

Al-Ahli is preparing to host the Al-Hazm team in an anticipated match taking place on Thursday, as part of the 21st round of the Saudi Professional League.

According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah," Demiral will undergo thorough medical tests, based on which his physical readiness to participate in the match will be determined.

The Turkish defender suffered a muscle injury during the match between Al-Ahli and Al-Khaleej in the seventeenth round, which caused him to miss the matches against Neom, Al-Ettifaq, and Al-Hilal.

Merih Demiral participated with Al-Ahli this season in 24 matches across various competitions, successfully scoring two goals and providing one assist.

In a related context, German coach Matthias Jaissle of Al-Ahli Jeddah has decided to rely on Mohamed Abdulrahman on the right flank to compensate for the absence of the suspended Ali Majrashi.

Al-Ahli occupies the third place in the Saudi League standings with 44 points, collected from 13 victories, 5 draws, and one loss.
