The media personality Ahmed Shobeir criticized Al Ahly's management after the team's draw with Al Ahly Bank in the league.

The match between Al Ahly and Al Ahly Bank, which took place last Tuesday evening in the 17th round of the Egyptian Premier League, ended in a 1-1 draw.

In a radio statement, Shobeir said: "Ideally, when a player leaves and another is signed, the new player should be better, especially since you are bearing part of the salary of those leaving the team. So, are the new players better than those who left?"

He added, "I terminated the contract with Achraf Dari, but the player is still participating in group training normally despite being excluded from the team roster and Youssef Belamri joining. Dari's father confirmed that he will receive the player's full salary."

He added: "The criticism of the head coach is very intense due to changing and resting a number of players. After the Tanzania trip, he cannot field them because they will be fatigued. But the question is: Are the substitutes at the same level as the starters?"

Shobeir concluded: "Al Ahly did not perform strongly and did not deserve to win, while Al Ahly Bank deserved the draw."
