Barcelona secured a well-deserved 2-1 victory against their host Albacete in the match held at Carlos Belmonte Stadium, as part of the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey.

Lamine Yamal opened the scoring for Barcelona in the 39th minute with a brilliant shot that found the net, following an excellent pass from the Dutchman Frenkie de Jong.

In the second half, Barcelona extended their lead with a second goal by defender Ronald Araújo in the 56th minute, after successfully heading in a corner kick taken by Marcus Rashford.

Before the end of the match, Albacete managed to narrow the gap by scoring their only goal through Javi Moreno in the 87th minute with an excellent header that found the net.

With this victory, Barcelona succeeded in securing a place in the semifinals, while Albacete exited the tournament after a commendable performance.
