Tuesday 03-02-2026
The Saudi national team begins implementing an early preparatory program in preparation for participation in the 2026 World Cup finals, as part of an integrated vision aimed at enhancing technical and physical readiness before the global event.

The program relies on an institutional methodology based on full coordination with clubs, unifying technical, medical, and fitness efforts to serve the player's interest and support the national team's goals in the upcoming phase.

The first step included officially addressing Saudi Roshan League clubs, with the approval of an initial list of 80 players to be included in a precise monitoring system covering technical, physical, and medical aspects.

The technical and administrative staff activated direct communication channels with specialized devices in the clubs, in addition to field monitoring of players' participation in the league and the King's Cup to ensure comprehensive and continuous evaluation.

The technical and medical staff focus on regularly monitoring players' fitness levels, aligning physical programs with preparation requirements, and managing workloads according to match pressure.

The medical staff also implements an advanced analytical program that includes indicators of sleep, nutrition, fat percentage, and muscle composition, to build an accurate database supporting technical decisions.

In the same context, performance tracking data is analyzed in coordination with clubs, with studies on injury and recovery reports, alongside utilizing the March break to follow up on the Green Team's group teams and analyze competitors.
