Egyptian media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed new developments regarding the future of Al-Ahly player Ahmed Abdelkader, amid the club management's moves to loan him during the current period, as part of plans to reorganize the team's ranks.

Al-Ghandour explained through his official account on Facebook that Al-Ahly wants to loan the player to Al-Karma Iraqi club for $150,000, stipulating the extension of his contract for an additional season before completing the deal, to ensure the continuity of the club's rights.

According to what he indicated, the player categorically refused the idea of renewal, especially since he is close to entering the free period, which grants him the right to sign with any club he wishes to join, in addition to his ambition to obtain a bigger contract in his next destination.

These developments place the Al-Ahly management in a clear challenge, as they must resolve the player's file in light of his insistence on his position, against the club's desire to achieve technical or financial benefit before the end of his contract.
