A goalless draw prevailed in the match between Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli, which took place this evening as part of the 20th round of the Saudi Professional League, at the Kingdom Arena, in a highly anticipated clash for the fans.

The two teams exchanged offensive attempts throughout the match, but failed to convert opportunities into goals, leaving the round's classic without a decisive outcome despite the high competitiveness between the sides.

Al Hilal dominated the game with 54% possession and managed to take only two shots on target, while Al Ahli failed to direct any shots between the posts.

The final minutes witnessed refereeing drama when Ali Majrashi, the right-back for Al-Ahli club, received a second yellow card followed by a red card in the 94th minute of stoppage time.

With this result, Al Hilal increased its tally to 47 points, maintaining its lead at the top of the standings, just one point ahead of Al Nassr in second place.

On the other hand, Al Ahly maintained its position in third place after reaching 44 points, keeping it in the competition for the top spot as the decisive rounds approach.

In the previous round, Al Hilal drew with Al Qadsia 2-2, while Al Ahli entered the match in high spirits after a resounding 4-0 victory over Al Ettifaq.
