Al-Nassr team secured a valuable and thrilling victory after defeating its counterpart Al-Riyadh with a score of one to zero, in the match that took place at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, as part of the twentieth round of the Saudi Roshn League.

The Senegalese Sadio Mane scored the only goal of the match in the 40th minute, following a well-organized attack that he converted with a powerful shot inside the penalty area, which the Canadian goalkeeper Milan Borjan was unable to stop.

Al-Nassr increased its tally to 46 points, temporarily topping the Roshan League standings, while Al-Riyadh's tally remained at 12 points, continuing its struggles in the lower positions.

The first half witnessed mutual attempts, as Riyadh almost opened the scoring early through the Spaniard Sergio Gonzalez, but the crossbar denied his team a certain goal.

On the other hand, Al-Nassr missed more than one opportunity, most notably Sadio Mane's bicycle kick and Portuguese Joao Felix's shot from outside the area, before the global team managed to break the tie before the end of the first half.

At the start of the second half, Al-Nassr continued their pressure, and Felix almost added a second goal from a free kick, while Al-Riyadh responded with a dangerous attempt by the Ivorian Ismaila Soro, which resulted in a corner kick.

Before the final whistle, the post stood by Riyadh, blocking Sultan Al-Ghannam's header, allowing Al-Nassr to maintain their lead and secure three valuable points in the race for the top.
