The Saudi club Al Hilal concluded its moves in the winter transfer market by securing a new foreign signing, as part of the management's plan to strengthen the first team with young players capable of making a difference in the future.

The newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat" confirmed that Al-Hilal has reached a final agreement with Neom Club to purchase the remaining duration of the contract of French midfielder Simon Bouabri.

The newspaper clarified that Bouabri's contract extends for four and a half seasons, for a financial amount exceeding 30 million euros, in a deal that reflects Al Hilal's approach to long-term investment.

The deal was completed before the closing of the winter transfer window in Saudi Arabia, specifically on the 2nd of February this year, following rapidly progressing negotiations between the parties.

Simon Bouabri is 19 years old and plays as a midfielder. His market value is estimated at around 4 million euros, after joining Neom last summer.

Bouabri participated in 16 matches with Neom during the current season, scoring one goal and providing two assists, catching the attention of major clubs.

In a related context, Al-Hilal continues to move closer to finalizing the deal for French striker Karim Benzema from Al-Ittihad, following the player's decision to suspend his participation due to disputes over renewing his contract.

This comes after Al Hilal recently announced its signing of the young French striker Mohamed Kader Meite from Rennes, with a contract extending for three and a half seasons, to strengthen the attack line.
