Monday 02-02-2026
The Maghreb Fes Club officially announced its signing of the Mauritanian international striker Cheikhna Smiaga, coming from the Jordanian club Al-Salt, after purchasing his contract, as part of strengthening the team's lineup during the current winter transfer period.

The club clarified in an official statement that Smega's contract extends for two and a half seasons, until the end of the 2027-2028 sports season. This move reflects the management's desire to strengthen the offensive line with attacking elements capable of providing the desired contribution.

Our Sheikh Smeiga is considered one of the prominent names in Mauritanian football, playing as a center forward. He caught attention last season by becoming the top scorer in the Mauritanian league, which made him a subject of interest for several clubs both within Africa and beyond.

The Maghreb Fes Club welcomed its new player, wishing him success in his upcoming experience with the team's jersey and contributing to fulfilling the aspirations of the Fes fans in the upcoming local and continental competitions.
