The Moroccan international, Othman Maama, a player for Watford, has caught the attention of a French club during the current winter transfer window, due to his impressive performances this season.

The French site "Foot Mercato" revealed that Lille has shown serious interest in signing the Moroccan player, considering him as an option to strengthen the team's lineup before the close of the winter transfer window.

The same source explained that Lille's management is looking to strengthen the attacking line, particularly the winger position, to compensate for the absences the team is currently experiencing, notably the injuries of Hamza Igman and Osama Sahrawi. This has prompted the French club to move quickly in the transfer market.

Othman is considered one of the most promising rising Moroccan talents, having previously won the award for the best player in the Under-20 World Cup. He was a decisive factor in the national youth team's victory in the world championship.

The player continues to deliver outstanding performances with Watford in the English Premier League, which has attracted the attention of several European clubs, as we await what the coming days will reveal about his professional future.
