Sunday 01-02-2026
Italian press reports have indicated that Juventus has begun inquiring about the possibility of signing Argentine striker Mauro Icardi, the star of Turkish club Galatasaray, during the current transfer window.

According to journalist Alfredo Pedullà, the player wishes to move to Juventus immediately, even on loan until the end of the season, while the conditions required by the Turkish club are not easy and negotiations are still ongoing.

Icardi is considered one of the most prominent strikers in European football in recent years. He began his professional career in the Italian league with Sampdoria in 2011 before moving to Inter Milan in 2013, where he scored more than 111 goals in 188 Serie A matches, making him one of the club's top scorers in its history.

In Turkey, the 33-year-old Icardi joined Galatasaray on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in September 2022, before making a permanent move in the summer of 2023 with a three-year contract.

He contributed to the team's crowning as champions of the Turkish Super League in the 2022–23 and 2023–24 seasons. He also became a prominent top scorer for the team, scoring more than 60 goals in all competitions since joining.
