Dani Olmo continues to affirm his artistic value with Barcelona, after delivering impressive performances in more than one position on the field this season, reflecting his tactical flexibility and coach Hans Flick's confidence in his abilities, according to the Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo'.

Olmo participated in the recent match against Elche as a creative midfielder to compensate for the absence of Pedri, and he succeeded in creating a decisive goal with a brilliant through pass to Lamine Yamal, who opened the scoring for the Catalan team. This raised Olmo's tally this season to 7 goals and 3 assists in 25 matches across all competitions.

The newspaper mentioned that Olmo has played in three different positions this season, having played as a playmaker in 18 matches, in addition to his participation as a creative midfielder, and also as a left winger on some occasions, changes that began last November.

Flick resorted to using Olmo as a creative midfielder for the first time against Celta Vigo, then repeated the experiment against Athletic Bilbao, before relying on him in the same position in the Champions League against Copenhagen. The player also started one match as a left winger against Real Sociedad and participated as a substitute in the same position against Mallorca and Elche.

The report confirmed that Dani Olmo's versatility on the field provides Barcelona with additional solutions in the face of absences and enhances his position as an important element in Flick's project during the current season.
