Al-Bulayhi Joins Al-Shabab on Loan Until End of Season
Al-Shabab Club finalized its contract with Al-Hilal defender Ali Al-Bulaihi, after reaching a final agreement to sign him on loan until the end of the current season, as part of its moves in the winter transfer market.
Press reports confirmed that Al-Bulaihi signed his contract to join Al-Shabab on Sunday evening, following intense negotiations between the two parties that concluded with the deal being officially closed.
The deal was finalized after the Al-Shabab management increased the financial offer for the player, bringing his salary to one million riyals per month throughout the loan period, which is approximately a 40% increase from his previous salary.
Al-Bulayhi expressed his agreement to transfer to Al-Shabab, convinced by the financial offer and eager to embark on a new experience that would give him the opportunity to participate more on the field.
The international defender aims through this move to secure sufficient playing time, enhancing his technical readiness and increasing his chances of being part of the Saudi national team in upcoming events.
Al-Bulayhi participated with Al-Hilal this season in 7 matches across various competitions, totaling 377 minutes of play, and succeeded in assisting one goal.
Al-Bulayhi's transfer comes after he was excluded from the plans of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, who ranked him low among the defensive options within the ranks of Al-Hilal.
