The German Matthias Jaissle, the head coach of Al-Ahli Jeddah, spoke about the pressures he faced during periods of the current season, amidst reports suggesting he might be replaced by other coaches. He affirmed that he was confident in the work he was doing with the team.

Yaissleh said in statements to "The Athletic" network that the significant support he received from Al-Ahly fans had a profound impact, adding: "This support was an important factor in my continuity and gave me additional strength to continue working steadily."

The German coach emphasized that he did not treat the team's stars differently, explaining: "From day one, I have not treated the stars in a special way, whether it's Riyad Mahrez, Roberto Firmino, Franck Kessié, or Edouard Mendy. Everyone is subject to the same standards and receives the same respect, with appreciation for what they have achieved in the past."

Yaisleh concluded his remarks by expressing his happiness with settling in Saudi Arabia and renewing his contract with Al-Ahli, saying: "I believe in the project and the path we are on. I don't make long-term plans in football; the most important thing is to continue developing as a coach and to create special memories with the players and fans."
