The British newspaper "The Telegraph" reported in a report that Michael Carrick prioritizes bringing Marcus Rashford back to Manchester United if he continues in his position as the team's head coach beyond the end of the current season.

Carrick had taken over the leadership of Manchester United a few weeks ago on an interim basis until the end of the season, following the club management's decision to dismiss coach Ruben Amorim from his position as the team's manager.

On the other hand, Rashford is spending the current season on loan with Barcelona, with a clause allowing the Catalan club the option to sign him permanently for approximately 35 million euros.

The English international is delivering good performances for Barcelona this season, but the management has not yet made a final decision on whether to activate the purchase option or not.

This season, Rashford played 31 matches with Barcelona across all competitions, scoring 9 goals and providing 12 assists.
