Inter Targets Curtis Jones as Replacement for Frattesi
Saturday 31-01-2026
Press reports have mentioned that Inter Milan is planning to sign Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones to compensate for the departure of Davide Frattesi if the Italian international joins Nottingham Forest before the end of the winter transfer window in January, according to "La Gazzetta dello Sport."

The report indicated that Frattesi is facing difficulty participating with Inter due to intense competition with players like Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu, as he has started only once in the Italian league this season so far.

The newspaper confirmed that the club will not allow Frattesi to leave until a replacement is secured, and they have chosen Jones. Inter is close to completing an initial loan deal for the English player with an option to buy for around 40 million euros.

Reports also mentioned that Jones requested to leave on his own, but Liverpool is still hesitant to agree to that. Meanwhile, the English club has also shown interest in the injured player Denzel Dumfries, who might be included in the negotiations between the two clubs.
