Flick Continues to Shine in Leading Barcelona
Saturday 31-01-2026
The German coach Hans Flick continues to impose his offensive philosophy with FC Barcelona, adhering to the principle of playing solely for victory without accepting calculations or settling for a draw. This is reflected in his team's numbers this season, as highlighted by the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo."

The newspaper reported that since Flick took over the leadership of Barcelona, he has refused to speculate on results and consistently demands that his players go for decisive victories, which has translated into 70 wins in the 93 matches the team has played under his leadership.

The same source pointed out that Barcelona has achieved 26 wins so far, with 5 losses, and has only drawn in two official matches out of 33 this season: the first against Rayo Vallecano 1-1, and the second against Club Brugge in the Champions League 3-3.

The newspaper added that this figure is historically exceptional, as Barcelona has not experienced a similar situation in the last 60 years at this stage of the season, except for one similar instance with Luis Enrique in the 2014/2015 season, when the team also recorded two draws, but with one additional win.

According to Mundo Deportivo, this approach reflects Flick's competitive nature and his constant desire to assert control and achieve victories, as part of Barcelona's efforts to continue competing strongly for titles.
