Inter Moves to Sign Curtis Jones
Saturday 31-01-2026
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Inter Milan has entered into direct talks with Liverpool to sign English midfielder Curtis Jones on loan, with an option to buy.

Romano clarified that negotiations are still ongoing between the two clubs, but they are contingent on the possibility of Davide Frattesi leaving Inter during the current transfer window, as Nottingham Forest is awaiting a final response regarding the player's situation.

Romano concluded that the talks between Inter and Liverpool are ongoing today, as the Italian club seeks to strengthen its midfield, with anticipation for developments in the Frattesi case, which could determine the course of the deal in the coming hours or days.

It is noted that Jones' contract with Liverpool expires in the summer of 2027, and this season he has played 29 matches in all competitions and provided one assist.
