Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta appeared at a press conference to discuss tomorrow's match against Leeds United, on Saturday, in the 24th round of the English Premier League, at Elland Road.

The coach said about the readiness of Jurrien Timber and William Saliba: "They are fine. They have played a lot of minutes recently, and it was a very good opportunity to rest them in the last match. There are no new injuries in the team."

He added regarding Pep Guardiola's statements describing Arsenal as the best team in the world, and whether Pep's remarks were psychological games: "With me? I don't think so. We are speaking in general terms, and he is just expressing his feelings, that's all. If there are mind games, they exist, but I don't pay much attention to them. We just have to go onto the field and deliver what's required."

Regarding his relationship with Guardiola and comparing it to the relationship between Ferguson and Wenger: "That relationship was different. I've known Pep since I was fifteen years old, and I lived with him daily for four and a half years; it's different. I'm sure Pep had a great relationship with Enzo [Maresca], and they worked together and could also be rivals."

He continued: "The same thing happens with players. I had players here and then I face them later. Against Granit [Xhaka], I love Granit, but when we meet on the field, we go to war because I know very well how he is."

He concluded about the battle for the Premier League title: "When you lose a match, a lot of emotions arise. This group of players is extremely competitive and always strives for perfection. And when they don't achieve it, they start asking questions. My role is to instill optimism and be realistic about our current position. Our club has a long history, and it's rare to find a moment when we are in this situation in February. Guys, we are doing a lot of things wonderfully, so let's focus on that."
