Rossignol: We are looking to strengthen all lines, and this is Palmer's situation

Chelsea coach Liam Rosenior appeared at a press conference to discuss tomorrow's match against West Ham United in the 24th round of the English Premier League, at Stamford Bridge.

The coach said, "Signing a center-back? That's a possibility, but we are looking to strengthen all positions. Opportunities for players you don't expect may arise, whether a midfielder or a winger. I don't want to bring in players just for the sake of it; I want to sign players capable of making a real impact on the team."

He added, "We are looking to strengthen all lines. There are players who can come in and add strength to the team. If we see something that will improve the team, we know the officials will move to complete it. There is a possibility that the market will be active, and there is also a possibility that it will be quiet."

He continued discussing Levi Colwill's readiness after his knee injury: "I spoke with him this morning. He is doing very well, what a professional. He is working very hard, and it was great to see him back on the field running. He has a strong desire to return, but we need to ensure he feels 100% ready when he comes back. He might return before the end of the season, but I don't want to make promises I can't keep."

Regarding Cole Palmer's readiness: "He played in the second half of the last match, provided two assists, and delivered an outstanding performance. He is perfectly fine. This is what he wants and what I want, for him to be able to play 90 minutes. He is available to start tomorrow, and I am very happy about that. When a player like this is at his peak, he is at an elite level."

Whether Palmer is happy at the club amidst recent rumors linking him with a departure: "He is always happy."

Regarding Axel Disasi and the possibility of his departure: "I am happy for Axel. I don't like the term 'frozen list,' as they are players and human beings above all. He has been good in training, and if a suitable opportunity arises for Axel that benefits his career, we will proceed with it. However, no deal is close at the moment."

He concluded about the future of Josh Ashimpon: "Josh is a very special player, and I want him to be with me."
