Al-Ahly Sets Training Program for Imam Ashour During Suspension Period
Al Ahly club officials have settled on the schedule and training program for Imam Ashour, the team's midfielder, during his individual suspension. This decision follows his failure to travel with the team to Tanzania in preparation for the match against Young Africans in the fourth round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
According to the Yalla Kora website, Imam Ashour will commit to daily training at the Al Ahly club headquarters at 5:00 PM Cairo time and 6:00 PM Mecca time, in the event that the team's group training sessions are held in the morning.
The same source clarified that if the team's group training is held in the evening, Imam Ashour will perform his individual training at nine o'clock in the morning as part of the penalty imposed on him, ensuring the regularity of his physical and technical program without mingling with his teammates.
Al Ahly Club officially announced the imposition of a financial penalty on Emam Ashour amounting to one and a half million pounds, in addition to suspending him from group training for two weeks, requiring him to train individually. This is to affirm the principle of discipline and that no player is above the team's interest.
