The last few hours witnessed an important step in the career of the young Egyptian talent Hamza Abdel Karim, a player for Al Ahly club and the Egyptian youth national team, after his family officially announced his imminent move to the ranks of the Spanish club Barcelona to join the reserve team.

Mona Abdel Karim, the player's aunt, confirmed on her official account that all legal and administrative procedures related to the player's transfer have been completed, noting that the deal represents his first step in the world of European professionalism.

She revealed that the agreement included ensuring Al Ahly's rights in the future, and Hamza Abdel Karim's contract with Al Ahly was extended for an additional season to remain linked to the Red Castle until 2028 before moving to Barcelona.

The player is scheduled to leave Cairo tomorrow, Saturday, heading to Spain, where he will undergo medical examinations at the Catalan club in preparation for starting his European journey.
