Al-Ittihad Club is intensifying its efforts during the winter transfer market in search of strengthening its ranks with a local defender and a young foreign striker before the registration window closes in the coming days.

The management of the club is striving to quickly finalize the reinforcement file, particularly in the forward line, to meet the team's technical needs during the current phase of the Saudi Roshn League competition.

The Saudi sports newspaper reported that Al-Ittihad officials are considering several prominent young attacking players in preparation for selecting the most suitable one to strengthen the team's offensive power this winter.

The newspaper clarified that the choice is limited to the Uruguayan Álvaro Rodríguez, striker for Spanish club Elche, the Belgian Lucas Stassin, player for French club Saint-Étienne, and the Moroccan Yassir Zoubairi, striker for Portuguese club Famalicão.

Yasser Zabiri is considered one of the promising names, having attracted attention with his outstanding performances in the Portuguese league, making him a strong candidate on the table for the Union's management.

The Al-Ittihad club has not finalized any official deals so far in the winter transfer window, which closes next Monday, amid fan anticipation for the expected reinforcements.

This move comes after Al-Ittihad drew 2-2 with Al-Fateh in the 19th round of the Saudi Professional League, increasing the need to strengthen the offensive lineup.
