Italian press reports have revealed that Croatian Ivan Perisic (36 years old) has reached a preliminary agreement to join Inter Milan during the current transfer window, coming from the Dutch club Eindhoven, in a move that could bring back one of the prominent former names to the Nerazzurri ranks.

According to the reliable Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Perisic is pushing hard to get the green light to complete the deal as soon as possible, amidst an atmosphere of optimism within Inter Milan's management about finalizing it soon after agreeing on most of the details.

Perišić had previously delivered outstanding performances in an Inter Milan jersey during his previous stint with the team, where he played approximately 254 official matches across various competitions, scoring 55 goals and providing 49 assists, leaving a clear mark on the club's successes during that period.
