Petrojet Rejects Loan of Tawfiq Mohamed to Pyramids
The journalist Gamal El-Ghandour revealed that the Petrojet management rejected an offer from Pyramids to sign the team's star, Tawfiq Mohamed.
Al-Ghandour said on the "Stad Al-Mehwar" program that Pyramids requested to include Tawfiq Mohamed on loan for six months, but the offer was rejected because Petrojet opposes the principle of loans in player transfers.
Ghandour continued: "The club felt that Tawfiq Mohamed would merely be a substitute at Pyramids for six months until our national team star Mohamed Hamdy returns from his cruciate ligament injury, after which Tawfiq would return to Petrojet, which the club rejected."
He continued: "Al-Ahly moved on Tuesday evening to sign Tawfiq Mohamed, and there are negotiations with the player who has shown great willingness to join the Reds. The coming days may see the Reds finalize the deal."
