Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham appeared in a press conference following the 4-2 loss against Benfica in the final round of the Champions League group stage, at Estádio da Luz.

The English star said, "It's obviously terrible to lose in this way. We didn't expect to play a match like this, and we need to go back and watch it again."

He added, "The goals we conceded and the things that happened... I don't have much to say. I'm not sure what to think, but it doesn't look good."

He concluded: "One of the things that happened is that they were more intense and aggressive. They won all the contested balls. The basic things we usually excel at, like creating chances out of nothing thanks to our talent, we couldn't do in this match."

It is noted that Real Madrid will face either Bodo/Glimt or Benfica in the playoffs, with the draw scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, January 30.
