Inter Milan achieved a valuable away victory against Borussia Dortmund with a score of 2-0, in the match held at Signal Iduna Park, as part of the eighth and final round of the league stage in the UEFA Champions League.

The first half ended in a goalless draw, before Federico Dimarco succeeded in breaking the German defense by scoring Inter Milan's first goal in the 81st minute, and in injury time, Andy Zwoif confirmed the victory by scoring the second goal in the 90+4 minute.

Borussia Dortmund failed to score against the Italian team throughout the match, ending with a clear superiority for Inter Milan in the crucial minutes.

With this victory, Inter Milan raised its tally to 15 points to occupy the tenth place in the standings, securing a spot in the qualifying playoffs for the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund's tally froze at 11 points in the seventeenth place, also entering the qualifying playoffs for the same round.
