Liverpool achieved a sweeping victory over Qarabag with a score of 6-0, in the encounter that took place at Anfield as part of the eighth and final round of the league stage in the UEFA Champions League.

Alexis Mac Allister scored the first goal in the 15th minute, before Florian Wirtz doubled the lead with the second goal in the 21st minute, ending the first half with the Reds leading 2-0.

In the second half, Liverpool continued their dominance, with Mohamed Salah scoring the third goal in the 50th minute, then Hugo Ekitike added the fourth goal in the 57th minute, before Mac Allister returned to score the fifth goal in the 61st minute, and Federico Chiesa concluded the goal festival by scoring the sixth goal in the 90th minute.

With this victory, Liverpool raised their tally to 18 points to occupy third place in the standings, securing direct qualification to the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League. In contrast, Qarabag's tally froze at 10 points in the twenty-first place.

Based on their position in the standings, Qarabag will play the playoff qualifying for the Round of 16, after failing to secure a direct qualification ticket.
