Al-Ahly Club continued its strong pressure on the top of the Saudi Roshan League after achieving a significant victory over Al-Ettifaq with four goals to none, in the 19th round match held at the Al-Inma Stadium in the city of Jeddah.

The Englishman Ivan Toney opened the scoring early for Al-Ahli in the seventeenth minute, capitalizing on a precise pass delivered by the Algerian star Riyad Mahrez inside the penalty area.

Tony returned to reaffirm Al-Raqi's superiority by scoring the second goal from the penalty spot in the 27th minute, putting his team in a comfortable position at the end of the first half.

The Frenchman Valentin Atangana strengthened Al Ahly's lead with the third goal in the sixty-fourth minute, following an organized team performance that allowed the home side to dominate the course of the match.

Ivan Toney concluded the goal festival by scoring the fourth goal from a second penalty in the eighty-third minute, completing a personal hat-trick that led Al-Ahly to a wide victory.

With this victory, Al-Ahly raised its tally to 43 points in second place, continuing to chase the leading Al-Hilal, who is ahead by two points, while Al-Ettifaq's tally remained at 29 points in seventh place.

This victory came as a continuation of Al-Ahli's positive results, having previously defeated Neom with three goals to none in the last round of the Saudi Professional League's Roshn competition.
