Al-Ahli Saudi Club is intensifying its efforts during the current period to ensure the continuation of Ivorian Franck Kessié, amid increasing European interest in the midfielder's services, led by Italian club Juventus.

Al-Ahly officials are monitoring Kessié's final stance on the contract renewal offer presented to him, awaiting his decisive response, according to the latest report by the Saudi newspaper "Okaz."

The Al-Ahli management has initiated official and serious efforts to renew Kessi's contract, based on a direct recommendation from the German coach Matthias Jaissle, who considers the player to be an indispensable technical asset.

The same sources indicated that Kessie is carefully considering Al Ahly's offer, while simultaneously receiving professional offers from European clubs, led by Juventus, which is looking to strengthen its midfield.

The future of Kessie is expected to become clear in the coming days, whether he continues his journey with Al-Ahly or returns once again to the Italian league.

Frank Kessié, aged 32, joined Al-Ahli in the summer of 2023 from Spanish club Barcelona, with a contract extending until June 2026.

Kessie played 99 matches for Al-Ahli across various competitions, during which he scored 21 goals and provided 12 assists. He won the AFC Champions League Elite title in 2025 and the Saudi Super Cup with the club.
