Chelsea Football Club has announced reaching an agreement with its player Raheem Sterling to terminate the contractual relationship between the two parties by mutual consent, allowing the former England international winger to leave the ranks of the 'Blues'.

This decision comes after a long period of uncertainty regarding Sterling's future at the club, as he was out of the coaching staff's plans and did not participate in recent times.

Sterling joined Chelsea in the summer of 2022, coming from Manchester City, where he played several seasons with the London team. However, he did not succeed in securing a permanent starting position, despite his vast experience and impressive career in the Premier League.

Under this agreement, Raheem Sterling becomes available to sign with any club as a free player, without needing to wait for official transfer periods, amid anticipation to know his next destination in the upcoming phase.
