The Portuguese coach José Gomes, manager of Al-Fateh Club, reviewed the strengths of Al-Ittihad Jeddah ahead of the anticipated match between the two teams in the Saudi Professional League competition.

During the press conference held on Wednesday evening, Gomez emphasized that Al-Ittihad is a major team characterized by high speed and offensive capabilities, noting that the recent decline in their results does not reflect their true abilities.

The Al-Fateh coach explained that his team is required to regain the winning momentum after the recent period, emphasizing that the complacency shown lately is unacceptable in a competitive tournament like the Roshan League.

Gomez emphasized the importance of mental preparation for the match, stressing the need to close defensive gaps, noting that most of the Union's goals come from inside the penalty area.

Al-Ittihad will visit Al-Fateh on Thursday evening at 8:30 PM at Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Stadium, as part of the 19th round of the Saudi League.

Al-Ittihad Jeddah holds the sixth position in the Roshn League standings with 30 points, while Al-Fateh is in tenth place, having accumulated 21 points so far.
