Romagnoli Insists on Leaving Lazio to Join Al Sadd
Wednesday 28-01-2026
Alessio Romagnoli, the Italian Lazio defender, has not changed his plans regarding his future, as he continues to desire leaving the capital club in the upcoming period to embark on a new experience in the Qatari league through Al Sadd Club.

According to reports, Romagnoli has reached a full agreement with Al Sadd Club, which involves signing a three-year contract under which he will receive an annual salary of 6 million euros, in addition to attractive bonuses and financial incentives.

Despite the agreement between the player and the Qatari club, the deal still faces a major obstacle, which is Claudio Lotito, the president of Lazio, refusing to let go of the international defender at this time.

Lotito is keen on keeping Romagnoli within the team, as he aims to maintain him as one of the key pillars in the defensive line. This leaves the future of the deal pending, awaiting a final decision from Lazio's management.
