Zamalek Opens Door for Chico Banza's Departure in January
The officials of Zamalek Club have decided on the future of Angolan player Chico Banza, a member of the first football team, during the current winter transfer period, in light of the management's assessment of his performance since joining the White Castle.
According to Al-Watan newspaper, the Zamalek management does not object to selling Chico Banza's contract this January if a suitable financial offer is received, due to dissatisfaction with the player's performance and his lack of expected development since joining the team.
The newspaper confirmed that the club's management is currently working on marketing the player, while ensuring the preservation of Zamalek's financial and legal rights, in addition to settling all the player's financial dues before completing the departure process, to avoid any future issues.
It is noted that Chico Banza joined the ranks of Zamalek during the last summer transfer window, coming from the Portuguese club Estrela Madeira, in a deal valued at approximately 600,000 dollars.
